I finally got to test-drive our new Bumbleride Indie Twin stroller yesterday! The weather was sunny and 38 degrees, which is the warmest it’s been in a while. There was still quite a bit of snow and ice on the road, but I didn’t have any trouble getting through it ~ even the slush wasn’t a problem! In fact, for most of the walk I was able to push the stroller with one hand, which is really awesome when you’re 8 months pregnant and walking a Great Dane at the same time.

I needed a stupid easy project to complete in order to feel good about accomplishing something other than housework for once, so I made this choker. Inspiration came from a jewelry-making book, but the text was all in Japanese so I could only rely on the photos. Also, I didn’t have enough of the right type of beads they called for so I just winged it with seed beads (8/0 Miyuki matte metallic teal iris & 11/0 Miyuki metallic green iris).
